An Arm and a Leg

This game is an entry for the ARD Puls Game Jam 2025 with the theme being "Kaputt" (=broken).

In An Arm and a Leg, you play as Robo who had an unfortunate accident and lost all of it's limbs! Help him find them and unlock new abilities with each arm and leg you find.

Controls:

W and D to move

Space to Jump

E to use abilities

1 to equip a leg

2 to equip an arm

Disclaimer:

We were having massive time-related issues and could neither finish the game nor polish the existing mechanics. If the UI is not displayed you have to try out the buttons until you find the right one. Normally the player character would display how many limbs he got and how many unequipped limbs are available. The sprites for that exist but did not make it into the final game. The leg mechanics haven't found a way into the game as well but can be used to exploit this test level and probably get you stuck somewhere.
